I'm Hisham, a cellular systems engineer who loves creating UIs with Claude. In my own time I build things with Claude and local AI models, and I write down what I learned, including what went wrong. Below are those lessons, and a few free things to learn from.
mePart 2 of my personal AI engine. In one month it became the place where receipts, our calendar, the smart home and my Claude Code sessions meet, and its tools started to plug in.
Want wireless and DSP? Free lessons in English and Arabic: Wireless 101
Every entry is in English and Arabic.
Lesson: a tool registered in ten places is a security bug waiting to happen. Keep one registry.
Lesson: a cheap SD card can freeze a whole computer. Keep constant writes in memory.
Lesson: a message that was sent is not a message that was seen. Check on the phone, not in the logs.
Lesson: the skill's checker passed a deck that was still the template; a judge reading the slides caught it. A layout check is not a content check.
Lesson: HTML is more than websites. One file can carry its words, its look and its behavior, and open anywhere.
Lesson: the real takeaway had nothing to do with AI. When the tire light comes on, go look at your tires.
Lesson: design from what a three-month-old can actually see, not from what looks lovely to adults.
Lesson: AI writes clear lessons fast, but an engineer has to review every module for accuracy.
Lesson: write for the ear, and check the words, not just the file. Local voices now draft a whole book for free.
Lesson: failures here announce themselves as successes, so fixes should make failure visible. Part 2 carries on the story.
Lessons: kids' content demands higher quality, and bilingual is hard but worth it.
Lesson: a detailed CLAUDE.md file makes every new session with Claude productive from the first minute.
Where it started: wireless engineering, doctoral research, and the move into industry.
