What I work on

Wireless and signal processing

  • 5G baseband
  • RF digital front-end
  • Digital pre-distortion
  • Channel parameter estimation
  • Fixed-point implementation

Languages and tools

  • MATLAB
  • C and C++
  • Python
  • LabVIEW

Machine learning

  • Machine learning for wireless systems
  • Skills, plugins and tutorials for applying generative AI to wireless engineering work
  • Model integration
  • Local model deployment

Selected work

Research, teaching and tools built outside the day job.

For my son

Bedtime stories

Board books built for a three-month-old, matched to what a newborn's eyes can actually resolve. Hand-drawn in SVG, narrated page by page in English and Arabic. One is a high-contrast zoo; one is the true story of our cat.

Vanilla HTML and SVG, ElevenLabs narration, locally generated art

Two books, 32 pages, 106 audio clips

Doctoral research

Visible light vitals measurement

A photodetector driven by a Raspberry Pi recovers heart rate and breathing rate from a person using visible light alone, with no contact and no wearable sensor. The work produced a United States patent and several publications.

Raspberry Pi, photodetector hardware, signal processing

Educational platform

Wireless 101

A free bilingual platform teaching wireless communications, digital signal processing, statistics, machine learning, linear algebra and generative AI through interactive, story-style lessons.

Seven courses, in English and Arabic

580+ lessons, in each language

Developer tool

Claude presentation skill

A Claude Code skill that generates self-contained HTML presentations. Everything renders offline, with no external dependencies.
